Research in the Great Plains States

The midwest is more than rolling hills and cornfields with scarecrows; you’ll find plenty of records on your ancestors in the six states explored here.
If you have never set foot in the Great Plains states, you may consider them as merely pass-through states for ancestors heading west on historic trails, with little records of interest for family historians.
